Boxing Documentary | PUT THROUGH THE 'RINGER

Based on the 95-year old boxing club Times ABC, based in Islington, which was originally founded by The Times newspaper in 1924. Our goal was to create a docu-style photo story featuring a series of boxers-in-training such as Odel Bentham and club-favourite Freddie Kinsella detailing the Club's journey, as well as a glimpse into the boxers who make up the sport, which includes 3 mini interviews with an overarching discussion I had with the club's Chairman David Ryan, MBE. Although the paper has shifted away from it, the club has stayed alive with the help of community donations and generous funders. Although we wanted to create an educational project, we wanted to inform ourselves as much as our audience on the subject matter because I've always had an affinity for the sport.
